Do you have a list of all Government Official's both email and regular mail to start hammering away at getting some answers on these issues
I actually have some lists from a couple years ago, but since many legislators are new and others were not re-elected, it's not very helpful.
I really think that it's a waste of time to contact MANY legislators -- unless you have the staff to contact them all for followup. At most you'll get a canned reply.
Start with the legislators you voted for or legislators currently running for office and ask for their assistance and then please let us know what happened.
Sadly, I never got any response other than auto responses from any legislator.
One could suspect that I am too obnoxious, too much in their face. However, I don't know of anyone else who got a response.
Readers and clients have contacted their representatives, the very BEST result was being invited to a campaign photo op. Nobody gave a rat's ass about the issues.
With all the presidential candidates campaigning, NOW is the time to demand ACTION from candidates in office.
We don't need any morecampaign lies, but ACTION and NOW!
Any senator or representative can introduce legislation NOW.
I'm too busy with my litigation to do much else. I also know that there are MANY other problems. But with over 200 million adults in America, there ought to be a few people willing and able to put the candidates on the spot.
